In addition to kindergarten graduation songs and other games, the new year is also the time for kids to play with the Lego bricks they have at home.
“We have this amazing opportunity to have the kids have fun with Lego and the other items they have and also to help them understand and play with their own things, which is the way it should be,” said Kelly O’Brien, director of operations for the Kindergoat School Board of New Jersey.
O’Brien said the school board is also offering free games for kindergarteners this year, including the Kinder Garten Game.
The games include a series of puzzles, a game of catch, a series on the ocean, a puzzle about animals, and a story about a dinosaur that comes alive.
Some of the games include games for children under 12 and are free to use.
